The IFS Food certification has been awarded by SGS United Kingdom Ltd, an ISO/IEC 17065 accredited certification body, following a rigorous and independent audit. Montealbor achieved the Higher Level with an outstanding score of 98.73%, reflecting the excellence of our processes and dedication to continuous improvement.
Scope of Certification
The certificate covers our activities in:
- Production of vegetable oil-based or combined sauces, packed in glass jars or plastic buckets, with or without heat treatment.
- Production of vegetable creams (pasteurized, sterilized, or without heat treatment) in glass jars.
- Production of air-dried, cured, or smoked sausages, vacuum-packed or in bulk.
- Production of combined prepared meat dishes, ready to cook, vacuum-packed, or packed in plastic trays with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).
- Production of cooked sausages, smoked or not, packed in MAP trays or vacuum bags, pasteurized or sterilized.
- Production of meat preparations and baked meat products, smoked or not, packed in vacuum plastic bags, in MAP, or heat-treated.
This certification covers the product scopes of meat and meat products, fruit and vegetables, and combined products, across technical scopes A, B, C, D, E, and F.
